By Bus

Making the entire journey by coach is definitely the cheapest option, however it is also the longest and can be dependent on traffic.  However, you can use the coach or bus as just part of your journey, which can be a very efficient and cost effective way of getting from the airport or the train station.

In 2008 we teamed up with Ski Bus & Snow Bus.

Ski Bus will take you all the way from London to Tignes & Snow Bus specialise in airport transfers

Travel to the alps for just £100rtn and no additional charges for luggage or ski’s!

The Ski Bus coach departs London Victoria at 3pm on Friday afternoon and crosses the channel for an early arrival into Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Tignes on the Saturday. Your return trip departs Tignes the following Saturday and arrives back in London in time for your Sunday roast! The outbound journey includes other pickup points, upon request.

Group Discounts: You will be entitled to a free seat for a group booking of 10 or more. If would you like to find out more, please contact us with your requirements.

Ski Bus do not charge extra for carrying ski or snowboard equipment, which can be a real pain when flying with some of the low-cost airlines.

Previous guests have also had success using Eurolines others have bought tickets through companies working with National Express although a change of bus is often involved before you arrive in Tignes

Snow Bus offers shared transfers from Chambery and Geneva airports to Tignes and Val d’Isere, which makes for a cheaper and more convenient travel option.

Prices from Chambery are £40 per person single and £75pp return. From Geneva it’s £47.50pp single and £87pp return. Snow Bus operate scheduled buses throughout the day and provide their own English-speaking reps to meet guests at the airports.

If would you like more information on the services, please contact us with your requirements.
